Rockstoc Jaipur Lapidary Project Feeding

Delivering rice and grain to a slum area - many of these women are widows of lapidary workers

In June of 2019, Rockstoc initiated an outreach project with our partners in India to give back to the impoverished lapidary and manufacturing communities of Jaipur. What began as a small, grassroots movement culminated in thousands of dollars in donations from jewelers around the world to provide food and tuberculosis medications for lapidary artists and others in need. Cutters, brokers, and manufacturers from the area worked together to hand load hundreds of 50kg bags of flour, distributing them in Amagarah and other underprivileged areas in the region.
